Thoughts:

I wore this costume to Dragoncon '02 with added low rise jeans. Although several people mistook me for Poison Ivy, most recognized me as Dawn and loved the outfit. ^_^ Many people also mistook me for a real redhead!

Construction:

Leotard: I found the perfect fabric for this though I'm not sure what it is. Some kind of skating or dance material. I took a leotard pattern and added the neck and made it sleevless. I put the leotard on my dressmaker dummy and drew the skulls on using a combination of green and black marker. Took two days straight to draw all those skulls on, and I'm happy with how they came out!

Gloves: I got the gloves on eBay and modified them by adding the rings and silver studs to the tops.

Rose and chain: I got the chain from Home Depot and attached it to the glove with safety pins. The rose was from my previous Dawn costume.

Earrings: Walmart. ^^
