Thoughts:

I decided to put a Ran-chan costume together after watching one of the Urusei Yatsura movies and seeing her in her cute alien bikini. It must be pretty warm on those alien planets! ^_~ I decided to pull it out and finally wear it when Heather and Hollis agreed to do a Urusei Yatsura group at AWA! Jason was nice enough to take all these beautiful photos. ^_^

Construction:

Bikini: I used a bikini bottom pattern for the bottom half and sewed lycra over a bra for the top.

Wrist bands: I sewed purple lycra scraps into these. They are so easy to make that when I couldn't find them right before leaving for the con, I just whipped up some more. ^^

Neck: I measured my neck and sewed the neck band to fit me.

Wig: Purchased at European Wigs.

Boots: Purchased off eBay.
