Thoughts:

I made this costume last minute for AWA6! I told my friend Phil that I thought he was absolutely perfect for the part of Father Olivier, and he went and made the costume. He said that he already had someone to be Ohri, this cutesy slave girl/sorceress, but then she changed her mind or something. So... I went ahead and made the costume by dying my left over orange velvet and Akane wig. ^_^ Cost me nothing!

Construction:

Top: I used the top half of a leotard pattern, then cut it to the correct style.

Skirt: I used a skating skirt pattern, then inserted elasted into the top.

Wig: This was my Akane Aikawa wig, which was originally white. I dyed it pink and styled it.

Hat: Ok, this is a little embarressing, but the hat is actually my yellow Pikachu tights. ^_^' I just tyed the legs together into a knot, cut the rest off, and had a pretty good Ohri hat! I love it when things go this well. ^_^ I was going frantic trying to figure out a way to make that hat and looking for anything yellow.
