Thoughts:

I wore this costume in a Miyuki-chan in Wonderland group at Otakon '00! It was so much fun hanging out with all the wonderland girls. ^_^ *chu!*

This costume was made out of white crushed velvet from a leotard pattern out of my Quick Sew pattern book. I had originally tried white fur but wasn't getting the results I wanted and changed to crushed velvet because it was still a bit furry looking, but stretchy and pretty. I had to modify it by making it backless and adding nude lycra straps. The back laces up with a strip of white crushed velvet through metal rings. The tail was made by sewing a covering out of white crushed velvet and then inserting a long wire into it and bending it as desired. The ears were easily made from a set of bunny ears I had bought. I cut the fur off of the bunny ears and bent the remaining wire into two circles. Then I covered both wires again with white crushed velvet and pink satin, and they were mouse ears. ^_^
