Thoughts:

This is actually my second Morrigan costume. No one has ever seen the first one. The only thing I kept from the first costume was the bat print tights. I've worn this costume to AWA5 and Nekocon and will wear it one more time to Katsucon, to be in a skit at the cosplay.

Construction:

Body suit: This is made of velvet and was bought, but would look good in lycra or pleather also. I used skin-colored straps to replace the black ones. Morrigan's costume would NOT stay on in real life without straps. ^_^' I cut a white feather boa and tied them on.

Gloves: My Sailor Moon gloves, cut and dyed pink.

Tights: White tites, and dyed purple. I then put them on and drew and colored the bats on my legs with a fabric marker.

Wings: I made a wire from out of coat-hanger. I cut and hand-sewed black and purple vinyl onto the frame, and added some fake bear claws. They also have skin-colored straps, which are attached to the middle of the wings, like an 8, and fit over my shoulders. The head wings were done the same way and were attached to a thick headband by drilling holes into it and placing the wire ends into them and wrapping them around several times.

Shoes: These were bought.

Wig: Purchased at Funwigs.
