Thoughts:

On a whim before AWA '02 I decided to make a new Cammy costume! Street Fighter 2 Cammy was always my favorite version and I chose this nice blue alteration to be different and because I already had the fabric, left over from my Supergirl skirt. Derek dressed as Guile (green though I begged him to be a blue version! ^^) and we ran into a very nice and pretty M. Bison named Katie. ^_^ If I wear this costume again I would like to work with the gloves some more and I will have to make a new pair of tights as I got a run in them from sitting on the concrete. I was also lucky to have Jason handy to take most of these photos. I think the pics turned out very nice!

Construction:

Leotard: I modified a leotard pattern to be very high on the hips and have a Brazilian back. I used fabric left-over from my Supergirl skirt.

Gloves: The gloves were made with red lycra through trial and error. I cut cardboard pieces into shapes and covered them with the fabric. I would have used red vinyl but I was completely out of it from my Dawn costume, and the store was out too. :/

Tights: I took my old Cammy tights and painted blue over the green markings.

Boots/socks: The socks were from my first Cammy costume and the boots were brand new. I cut and glued cardboard pieces together to make the rings then covered them with black vinyl that matched the boots well. Fabric was left-over from my Morrigan wings.

Hat: I found the hat at JC Penny's and attached a gold star to it. They are fairly easy to find around fall/winter and impossible to find any other time of the year.
