Thoughts:

I had a lot of fun being Akane! She's definitely the best witch of the group. ^_^

Construction:

Wig: purchased from Amphigory's Wigs.

Dress: The dress was made from a modified pattern out of satin. The eye was made from sculpy, painted, and glued onto the dress.

Tights: White tights dyed blue with Rit dye.

Hat: I bought a Halloween witch hat and made it stand up with poster board put inside of it.

Square: Sewn out of black velvet and satin. The circle and star were hand-sewn on and Akane's magic symbol was painted on with a very small brush.

Shoes: I bought brand-new black ankle boots for the shoes, cut them to Akane's style, and painted them blue. I then hand-sewed on black vinyl for the "wings."

Gloves: I simply bought a pair of fancy dress gloves and cut them at the wrists. The cuffs were made with no pattern and have snaps on them.

Earrings: Made of Sculpy and painted, then glued onto earring studs.
